Competition Progam
The Competition Program at BCSD offers the more serious dancer extra performance opportunities and a more intense training curriculum. Dancers are required to take more than 3 hours of dance per week and must train in several dance genres. Competition students compete at 3 regional competitions and 1 national event each season as well as attend extra dance training conventions and master classes. Dancers are selected for our company teams by audition.
Petite Pre-Competition
This program is geared toward dancers ages 5-7 who love to perform and are interested in a higher level of dance training. These dancers will perform at community events and two competitions. Dancers are required to take 1 weekly 45-minute jazz class and a ballet class of their choice. Dancers may choose the following options for their ballet class:
Ballet/hip hop combo class
Ballet/jazz combo class
Tap/ballet combo class
BCSD Company Tuition Rates
*If your dancer is enrolled in at least one company class, the following classes are included in tuition rates at no extra cost: Production, Jazz Technique*
Mini Company:
Requirements: Mini Company dancers attend classes 1-2 days a week. Classes range from 30-45 minutes in length.
