The fifth annual SC Tap Intensive will be held on June 22-23 at the BCSD studio in Hartsville, SC. We are so honored to welcome as our guest tap artist this year, the amazing Michelle Dorrance! Michelle is currently starring in "STOMP" the off-broadway sensation that is a rhythmic journey of sound and percussion. Michelle has been tapping since the age of four and has performed and toured the world spreading her love of tap dancing and educating dancers on the beloved heritage of this art form. We are also proud to have as guest tap teacher Elizabeth Burke who is also a dedicated tap dancer who has trained under Gene Medler of the NCYTE and the tap world's most dedicated masters. We are extremely excited to have these two amazing ladies to help our students further their tap education.
The purpose of the SCTI is to share the knowledge that comes from intense and dedicated study and to increase a tap dancer's skills as well as present the basics and rudiments of this wonderful art form. It is intended for area dancers to come together to share in their love of tap dancing. We hope you can be a part of this great opportunity! Call to save your spot!
